Make one positive change to your diet

Added by Dan Zambonini on 28th July, 2008

Changing your diet completely can be hard work, and difficult to maintain.

But changing just one aspect of your diet (for the better) can still have a major effect on your well-being, and is much easier to stick-to.

I recently cut-out fizzy drinks from my diet, which has had a noticeable positive impact on my health.

So, try cutting-out (or cutting-down on) something bad in your diet (especially if it's something you know you're over-doing), or alternatively, try adding something in (eating an extra piece of fruit, drinking more water), and before long, you'll notice the difference.

I've dropped from two sugars to just one in my tea after reading this. Can't say I feel any better, and I'm not enjoying my tea as much :(

Good one. Dispatches had a feature called 'what's in your lunch' earlier this week, and it was a real eye opener.

Those delicious looking sarnies from M&S don't look quite as tasty when you realise they generally contain half your daily salt allowance :(
